Ross MacBaisey

Mr. MacBaisey received a BBA from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with concentrations in Organizational Management and Information Systems / Operations Management as well as a minor in economics.

Ross is a decorated judoka. His many judo achievements include being the 5 time Junior National Champion, 2 time Collegiate National Champion, and winner of multiple California State Championships.

As a survivor of MRSA contracted through an athletic facility, Ross co-founded SafeMat to “protect athletes and promote a clean and safe environment for physical fitness.”

Jonathan Mendis

Mr. Mendis received a BA from the University of Michigan, with a major in history, where he co-founded the E. O. Wilson Biodiversity Foundation. Following graduation Jon worked for REZA Investment Group, specializing in investment sales and underwriting over $1 Billion of real estate.

Jonathan is a decorated wrestler. His many achievements include being a 2 time high school scholar athlete, a 2 time University of Michigan scholar athlete, and a member of the NCAA Championship runner up team.

Jonathan co-founded SafeMat to “prevent contagious diseases that typically side line athletes unnecessarily.”

Joshua Ramirez

Mr. Ramirez received a BA in international business from San Diego State University, with an emphasis in Management and Latin America and a minor in Spanish.

Joshua is a decorated judoka. His many achievements include being a 2008 Olympic alternate, a 2 time high school national champion and a 7 time junior national champion.

Joshua is also a decorated wrestler. He was the San Diego section/county champion and is a multiple California Freestyle and Greco state champion.

Joshua co-founded SafeMat to “secure a safe fitness environment for those constantly confronted by microscopic opponents.”
